Our site staff are well rounded tradesman with a highly developed range of skills, experienced and competent across a vast range of trades. We engage in a philosophy of on-going on-site training of staff and apprentices and encourage them to further their education and qualifications.

In addition we also try to retain our subcontractors on a permanent basis, to achieve a superior quality whilst achieving required project timeframes.

Our association with GD Building Solutions commenced when we had an 800sq metre tilt slab business premises built in 2007.
From the outset of the design and construction of our building the management and staff of GD were very helpful and we are extremely happy with the finished product.
During construction GD had an on-site foreman the whole time who we could converse with. I found this to be of immense assistance and I am sure it ensured the whole job flowed well and the quality of all the trades people, were at a premium.

GD Building Solutions Pty Ltd prides itself on the strong reputation it has developed operating over the past 36 years within the building industry. The company undertakes very limited advertising and relies almost solely on word of mouth and references.

The quality of work performed and professionalism of service is of the highest importance to ensure this reputation is continued in the future. In addition, GD Building Solutions Pty Ltd undertakes work for many repeat clients indicating the level of satisfaction and reliability.

History

The business was originally formulated in 1977 and took a four year period to establish itself as a trading entity. The Company was incorporated in March 1981 under the name of GD Engineering Pty Ltd with its focus on Design and Construction due to the Managing Director’s qualifications as a Structural Engineer. The company operated successfully in this approach within the industrial/commercial market as a small family business for many years.

GD Building Solutions Pty Ltd has been a Family Business since incorporation continuing the family business structure Nathan Dee is now the Managing Director following the retirement of the founding directors.

Since Incorporation the core of the business activities has shifted from a design initiated aspect to a Building/Construction driven business that has ability to offer a design and construct option if required.

A decision was make in 2007 to change the name of the company to more accurately reflect the work which is now under taken by the business. This decision was not taken lightly as the company had developed a strong reputation in the industry. The Company name was changed to GD Building Solutions Pty Ltd.
